Putting the “Fun” in Fundraising
The Giving Project works with charities across Western New York and beyond, creating exciting sweepstakes with impressive prize packages that encourage donations and fundraising for important initiatives. The organization came to us seeking public relations and communications assistance to drive participation, as well as a new website that speaks to the vibrant, engaging nature of the brand and boosts participation in campaigns. Our team has worked with the Giving Project on a wide variety of fundraising campaigns benefitting local nonprofits such as the Andre Reed Foundation, FeedMore WNY, Think Kindness, The Playmakers Organization, and Fantastic Friends of WNY. Through press releases, gathering engaging photography and videography, and social media campaigns, we were able to drive attention from both important media outlets and from target audiences for donations.
In addition, we worked to build The Giving Project a new site that is user-friendly and conversion-focused while also driving attention to the success of the brand itself through highlighting key statistics and utilizing photography that shows the impressive partnerships The Giving Project has been part of. Overall, the work aims to speak to the compassion of the brand and how successful sweepstakes campaigns can be as a fundraising tool. And since we began working with The Giving Project on outreach, their client portfolio has increased by three times.
