A relaxing waterfront getaway with a brand to match

To develop SunCliff on the Lake’s visual and written identity, we looked to their brand values: transparency, respect for nature, the opportunity to unplug, and the openness to learn something new. The beachy blues and tans of the color palette harken to the soothing hues of the beach — fitting, since SunCliff on the Lake is the only waterfront wedding venue with a hotel in the region. Even the gray shade of the brand font is soft and soothing in comparison to a traditional black. And the language is vivid, soothing, and lyrical, washing over the reader like waves. When building their complex website, we conducted keyword research to ensure that the venue’s website ranked for its unique and diverse offerings — it’s a waterfront wedding venue where guests can stay onsite overnight, as well as a hotel, restaurant, conference center, and a location for events and workshops. In addition to the website and branding, we also crafted a variety of collateral, such as business cards, brochures, invitations, flyers, menus, and coasters.
